Hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC)

HPC is a kind of White or light yellow powder, odorless, flammable. It is difficult to dissolve in benzene and ether at room temperature, and soluble in polar organic solvents such as water, ethanol and so on. This product is a non-ionic cellulose derivative. Thermoplasticity, film-forming performance, adhesion, latex stability and dispersibility are all good, with very little ash. In medicine, it is mainly used as tablet adhesive, film coating, etc., but also used as cosmetics, X-ray radiographic developer, tackifier and dispersant
